Takoyaki Signs
My favorite vendor food sign here is by far the takoyaki. (Octopus balls) They always look so happy, beckoning customers to their booths!

What is the meaning of this?
Nagoya is supposedly the center of the eel cooking universe. The city is renowned for the dish
hitsumabushi
(bbq eel with rice),
and during my three month stay I intend to determine if it lives up to the hype.
